What foods are there against flu?

In order not to get sick or easier to transfer the flu, you need to adjust the diet. What products and in what combinations help to cope with the flu, read on.

Who and why?

A ketogenic diet is when there is a lot of fat, a little less protein and a little more carbohydrates. Nutritionists originally developed it for the treatment of epilepsy in children. When carbohydrate intake decreases, the liver converts fats into fatty acids and ketones, which enter the brain and are used as an energy source, not glucose. And an increase in the level of ketones in the blood (or ketosis) reduces the frequency of epileptic seizures.

In recent years, this principle of nutrition is actively used by triathletes, cyclists, marathon runners – this helps to increase endurance.
