When is antibiotic prohibited?
- Antibiotics cannot be taken with alcohol. Not only does it reduce the effect of the drug, but it also gives an additional load on the liver.
- You can’t take together antibiotics and absorbents (maalox, almagel, activated carbon and others). They markedly reduce the effect of antibiotics.
- You cannot take antibiotics with blood thinners (aspirin). This increases the risk of bleeding.
- With other antibiotics , it will simply poison the body.
